When I think of February, I can’t help but immediately think of the word LOVE. And anyone who knows me, knows that I love hard, deep and honestly. Love is what drives my passion to end child abuse and neglect, it’s what gives me hope and purpose when I speak to people across our beautiful country. I introduce the idea and concept of self love, healing, growth and pure love.

Child abuse and neglect effects every one of us, even if we ourselves are not victims. The impact and ripple effect is endless, and to me, so much of the healing we are all so deserving of, is found through love. Pure, kind, honest love. So as the love month of February closes out, join me in practicing loving first yourself by being kind and gentle with you. Join me in modeling love to others who are hurting from their pains by simply being loving, kind and gentle with them. When we are good to one another, our hearts expand, love exudes and joy illuminates.

With all my love,

Lori Poland, Founding Executive Director

We’ve Decided to Do Things a Little Differently

April 30, 2020, is the end of National Child Abuse Prevention month, however, it is not the end of child abuse and neglect, and therefore we cannot stop until child abuse ends.

EndCAN is excited to invite you to our virtual No Dinner Dinner. In lieu of attending this event that no one else will be attending, we respectfully request you consider participating from the comfort of your own home, wearing what you like and eating your favorite foods with your family and/or friends.

Two reasons why we are not hosting an expensive black tie gala in Denver:

  1. Every dollar raised will go directly to end child abuse and neglect.
  2. Ending child abuse is going to take a national effort, so as a national organization, we want to reach people in all areas of the country.

We will be hosting a LIVE YouTube video stream where you can learn about EndCAN's work to end child abuse and neglect in our lifetime, all with a bit of fun entertainment and connecting. You can join us via your Smart TV, tablet, laptop or phone. No valet parking required!

By participating in this virtual event, you'll save yourself the price of the dress or tux you'd have bought or rented, Uber or Lyft charges, or babysitter stress and money, that you can donate to a great cause.

So, purchase your “virtual  ticket”, and enjoy a night home while helping us end child abuse and neglect.

That's why we need your help to understand and develop these ideas further, to be better and more relevant to you and people like you.

Your valuable input on our efforts will help us ensure that all children can grow up free from abuse and neglect.

For those who have not directly experienced abuse, we invite you to lend your supportive voice by completing the following opinion survey. You may access this survey HERE.
