As so many of us are looking around currently for answers, guidance, hope, and support, I can’t help but want to take a moment to emphasize the power of compassion, support and unitedness in times like this. So many of us know that our abuse occurred in isolation, out of fear, and left us feeling alone, scared and without a sense of direction. These feelings can be triggered amidst crisis, and for this I want to say that you are not alone, you are heard, you are supported, and that we and I am with each of you. It is times like this when we look to our spheres, share our vulnerabilities with our safe support systems, hold one another, and most importantly protect one another. Our vulnerable populations truly are vulnerable, and - especially in the face of uncertainty - are needing reassurance that they are not alone, we see them, and we hear them. If you notice something, please follow your instinct and reach out for support. We are providing resources below in a variety of capacities. Please know we are here, we want to hear your voices, and I know, that together we will preserve here, as we are survivors, thrivers and transcenders. We have you, I have you, and together, we’ve got this.
With all my love and compassion,
Lori Poland, Founding Executive Director

This April 30th at 6:30 p.m. MT We’ve Decided to Do Things a Little Differently
April 30, 2020, is the end of National Child Abuse Prevention month, however, it is not the end of child abuse and neglect, and therefore we cannot stop until child abuse ends.
BE THE CHANGE
We’ve been discussing that maybe the timing of our event is quite impeccable. As we all struggle with the current health crisis, we know that it is times exactly like these - stress, fear, and anxiety - that child abuse is most rampant. And we simply must actively work to bring people together and unite our voices to end child abuse and neglect.
EndCAN is excited to invite you to our virtual No Dinner Dinner. In lieu of attending this event that no one else will be attending, we respectfully request you consider participating from the comfort of your own home, wearing what you like and eating your favorite foods with your family and/or friends.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month (April) is soon approaching!
Child abuse and neglect (CAN) impacts everyone it comes in contact with. It’s a physical health, mental health and public issue that affects us all. The only way to stop it, is to join together to understand and treat it better.
We have ignited and are now – LOUDER THAN SILENCE – because it is time that we embrace everyone effected by CAN; survivors, thrivers, transcenders, neighbors, family, friends and entire communities. When we #SpeakUp, we become the change, the change that will enhance focus on research, training, and prevention of child abuse and neglect.
If we could cure a disease simply by talking about it, we would…Here is our chance.
JOIN US – be it a whisper or a roar – let’s get LOUDER THAN SILENCE.
It’s time to let the world know we are stopping it.
